Feet

Feet are fantastic objects of engineering. The interface between the body and the ground, our bare feet can absorb the stresses and strains of hard, unyielding surfaces, hills and gravel, and still allow humans to be perhaps the best long distance running animals on the planet*.

Well, at least that was the plan. We gave up the hunter-gatherer lifestyle and took away the freedom of our feet. Deprived of movement, the stimulation of the ground and of fresh-air, feet don't work like they used to be ‘back in the day’.

Painful feet

There are few everyday things worse than painful feet. They make you want to kick your shoes off, wish the duvet was not so heavy, wonder how you will put your foot to the floor in the morning, wish you could walk, run, play or just go shopping, like you want to.

Walking on air

We might not be able to get you running across the savannah, but we can make your everyday activities much more of a pleasure. You will feel like you are walking on air after we remove all that hard skin and your feet are running again with the right footwear, the right advice on gait and posture, and if necessary, a set of orthoses to aid your foot function." />
